General Information & FAQ
Using the Internet for your Search
During your property search you will find that there are many on-line resources. However, when you obtain listing information from sources other than a Realtor®, the information can quickly become outdated and therefore incorrect. I can let you know what is currently available, and given that the South Florida rental market changes very quickly, can save you valuable time. If you see a property on-line that interests you, let me know and I can verify its current status and arrange for you to see it at your convenience.
Tips for Finding a Rental
The rental market is ever-changing, with high demand year-round. If you are looking to rent a property in the area, keep in mind that the best time to look is three to four weeks prior to the time you are ready to begin your rental period. It is helpful to have ready your
(1) proof of income,
(2) current credit score, and
(3) funds (three times the rental amount) to cover the first and last month’s rent and security deposit required by the majority of Landlords.
A well-documented offer is most likely to put you in a strong position if the Landlord receives other offers in addition to yours. I can help make the rental process as efficient as possible, by tailoring the search to properties that will best suit your needs.
If you would like information on rental properties available in the South Florida area, please let me know what you are looking for and I can send you listings that match your criteria, as well as subscribe you for automatic updates, which means you will receive listings immediately as they are entered into the MLS.
What should I look for in a Realtor®
It’s helpful if you have recommendations from their clients or others in the community. If not, however, start by looking at the agent’s education and experience. Not only should they be someone who is actively engaged in the local real estate market, but they should also make you feel comfortable and confident that they are working to get the best result for you and your family. Further, the Realtor® should be trustworthy, show professionalism, and have a strong work ethic, which is especially important when dealing with other agents and potential buyers/sellers to negotiate and close your transaction. You should feel confident referring your agent without hesitation. Click here to see what clients of Luisa Rosen-Artze have said.
